Bohannon grew up in the Philadelphia area and attended The George Washington University. She served as an education lobbyist, and helped to create the original DREAM Act. She now lives in Philadelphia and is the Senior Development Editor for a healthcare application. She is a frequent volunteer with Democratic political campaigns and with local nonprofits.
