Kreidie was born in New York, but grew up in Lebanon. His family had to flee due to war, and he came to the Philadelphia area. After attending graduate school at Temple, Kreidie became engaged in politics in many aspects, and eventually became the Commissioner for Philadelphia’s Civil Service Commission and the Chairman of the State Civil Service Commission. Kreidie has been involved in many local nonprofits, and is now seeking his first term as a city commissioner.
