Economy and Taxes:

  • Supports $15 minimum wage

  • Introduced legislation for the City's Affordable Housing Initiative (passed)

  • Believes in balanced development that both supports market rates for housing and creates opportunities for affordable housing so that people aren't displaced

  • Johnson has been caught up in a scandal where he was accused of abusing his council position to help a friend acquire City properties for lower than market value.
