Henon is a long-time member and leader in the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers union (Local 98), and he is affiliated with Johnny Dougherty, a well-known political influencer and the Local 98’s business manager. Henon, Dougherty, and several members of the union were investigated by the FBI in 2016, and are accused in a civil suit of racketeering and intimidating political opponents on 116 counts. (source)
